The location is superb, just a short stroll from the main train and bus stations. The staff is friendly, always ready to assist with recommendations. I loved the cleanliness of the facilities, especially the bathrooms, and the cozy atmosphere with curtain-enclosed beds for added privacy. The complimentary breakfast was impressive and so was the free iced tea upon arrival, making me feel right at home.
100% Recommend this hotel.

I stayed in a noisy place where people walking around and late-night shenanigans kept me up. Earplugs would’ve helped, but it was frustrating to hear others reorganizing their stuff or singing at odd hours. Definitely didn’t get much sleep!

stayed at multiple hostels during this trip but Old Door Hostel & Bar was by far the most spacious, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. The owners, Hank and Alice, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations and even making breakfast for each guest. Location was perfect, right next to Taipei Main Station and easy access to the airport via the Taoyuan Airport MRT.

I had an amazing experience staying at a budget hostel in Taipei. The location was ideal, with easy access to the MRT airport train, making it convenient to travel to and from the airport. The hostel was situated just outside the underground city mall, offering a variety of shops and eateries. Additionally, it was near night markets, allowing me to explore Taipei's vibrant street food scene. The room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay. The friendly staff provided excellent service, and the delicious breakfast added to the overall experience.
That some other tenants did not clean up after themselves in the shared bathroom, requiring me to do so.

The location of the hostel was fantastic. It was conveniently located near the Taipei Main Station, making it easy to access the metro and other transportation options. the common area was well-equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, and water boiler. the breakfast provided was delicious, with a traditional Taiwanese omelette and toast. the bathroom was clean and toiletries were provided. the facilities were well-maintained and the staff were attentive and friendly.
I got locked out of my dorm at 3 am and had to wake everyone up to let me back in, causing a lot of inconvenience.

The bunk beds were spacious and had built-in shelves and a safe box. The bathroom was clean and had good quality toilet paper. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation.
The lack of a water dispenser in the dorm was inconvenient. The pillow provided was uncomfortable and led to neck pain.

The bathroom was clean and didn't have any unpleasant odor. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash/soap, toothpaste. The room, although a capsule type dorm, was spacious and comfortable. The beds were soft and cozy, and the blanket was especially loved. The hostel had a small window overlooking a park where elderly women were dancing, which was a joy to watch. The hallway and bar had a homey and warm feeling, thanks to the aroma of roasted coffee. The location was very accessible and situated near Taipei Main Station, making it easy to access airport trains, HSR, and metro stations. the stay was relaxing and enjoyable, with a pleasant surprise birthday card and slice of cake.
Felt so well taken care of, no complaints at all!

I had a great city break experience at this hostel. The location was exceptional, with easy access to the airport and close proximity to attractions like MOCA and the old Taipei area. The hostel had a cozy and friendly atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. The homemade breakfast was delicious and the bar area was always lively and full of laughter. Additionally, the clean and spacious dorm beds provided a comfortable stay.
There were a few aspects that could be improved. it would be better if towels were provided in exchange for a small refundable deposit, instead of being charged for them.

The hostel was conveniently located right next to the main train station, making it easy to get around the city. The cozy and comfortable mattresses ensured a good night's sleep. Plus, the small safe box provided in each bed gave me peace of mind about the safety of my belongings.
Although the location was great, it did come with a downside. the lack of a fully private curtain and limited space for luggage storage were slight inconveniences.
